“No, Momma, I will not, unconditionally, absolutely NOT, open my mouth. Why are you feeding me wet cardboard?”
Well, I tried. I tried really hard to get some rice cereal in with a spoon. Not happening. Back to the bottle and I’ll sneak it in there. Kind of like we do with broccoli when we COVER it with cheese sauce!

I agree bud, YUCK! That is so cute and I don't know why it has to taste like crap to be good for babies?
I agree too, for Joey, instead of water I use apple juice to make his cereal, helps to hide the cardboard taste :)
Too cute. Elliot obviously has some refined taste in food. The only baby food William liked had sweet potatoes in it. He would eat any flavor as long as it either had it or we added it. For awhile he took on an orange tone.
Oh Elliot, you smart little boy. For the first little bit, Rhett wouldn't eat cereal in his high chair, only in his car seat. Kind of made me wonder if it was the different surrounding. Now he won't eat unless he is in a high chair. Craz kid anyways! Hugs!!
LOL smart guy!! We all know that baby cereal tastes really yucky!!
With Jackson i would add a small amount of flavoured apple sauce to try and make it edible. :o)
Oh he is sooooooooooooo cute!!!!!
Wet cardboard! That's hilarious and probably very accurate (I've never been brave enough to taste it before giving it to my babies). It took Lauren awhile to warm up to baby food and cereals too.
What a cutie!!
Shaylee would never eat rice cereal plain, I always added a spoonfull of Bananna baby food.
Michelle - How nuts is this - I didn't read this blog entry before I posted my thread on T21 (Feeding question regarding Ella Claire) - Too funny, well not really for us, huh? Hang in there chick!
