Just an update.

Elliot made it through yet another sedated MRI. Alas, we won’t have results on the potential tethered spinal cord until Monday. So, we wait. Elliot did not do as well under general this time around. He was very lethargic yesterday upon returning home and his face turned awfully blotchy later in the day. His eyes were extremely puffy too. Assume due to being taped shut during the procedure. No vomiting, but he did not want to eat.

Today, chipper as can be, thank goodness. I have to give it to the little man. The smile rarely leaves his rosy-cheeked face. And, now that he is FINALLY sitting, a whole new world is opening up. He can see over the crib after all. I have to wonder what he is thinking and so wants to say. At very least, expressions say so much. And his, in general, are ones of merriment. He’s happy to be here! And, I could not be happier that he is.

Wow...It's a lot to take in!! This must be such a stressful time. I'm glad he's so chipper though, what a blessing :o) and also glad he's recovering after the general. Sounds as if he's still making great progress in spite of it all! Take care, and hugs to Elliot and you xx
