As the neuro appointment approaches...

Oh, dear. I am so full of nervous tension. Elliot will visit Dr. Pediatric Neurosurgeon on Tuesday. We’ll go over the results from his not so pretty MRI last month.

Gosh, all I can do is pray that the doctor says something like this:

“Well, the hydrocephalus is mild; the hydrocephalus is non-obstructive."
"The hydrocephalus?" "Well, just don’t worry about it as it isn’t causing your blessed child to be symptomatic.”
“A shunt?" "Heck no!”
“Another syndrome?” “HECK no!”

I am merely asking for prayers. Dr. Pediatric Neurosurgeon dated one of my best friends from high school for many years. I hope he is honest and I hope he is good, and most of all, I hope what he tells me is reassuring. Wee E has been through too much already.

Speaking also of being through too much, my friend, Pam, could also use some prayers. Rhett will undergo more on Monday. Love you, Pam. And, hugs to dear Rhett.

Hugs to you and prayers for Wee E. We had an appointment with Dr. Electro-physiologist this week......

Oh, and how on Earth do you get E to sit in the sink without water all over the kitchen? A takes his bath in the bathtub, and water still goes everywhere. Who knew kicking water was fun?
