31 for 21 (#2) Valor

Get It Down; 31 for 21

Elliot’s primary neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurse gave me a figurine: an angel, arms extended to the open sky, entitled “Courage.” She gave it to me knowing that I would not need it for long. For she knew what I had really been given. What an insightful woman.

Try as I might, I will never be able to attain the level of courage exhibited by my son everyday! What I have found is that the figurine actually represents Elliot.
